PRESIDENT: Louise Nielsen
My background is in retail management and training. I hold a dip: in Frontline Management and a Cert 1V in Training & Assessment.I currantly work for the National Australia Bank and am married with 3 grown children, I've lived on the tablelands for 8 years and can't imagine living any where else.

Liz Hughes
Having taught Phys. Ed. in Malanda & Atherton for 20 years, I retired in 1996 to take over my daughter's wholesale plant nursery. Beantree Nursery now needs eight employees and we sell plants Australia-wide although mostly within Queensland. I'm hoping to retire for a second time by the end of the year.

Anne was born and raised in Monto, a small country town in Central Queensland, but had lived most of her adult life in Maleny before relocating with her husband and 15 year old daughter to the Atherton Tablelands in May 2006. Her background was working as a Personal Assistant/Research Officer for various University Campus Principals and Heads of Faculties over a 25 year period. As well, Anne and Ken have also owned a variety of retail businesses within the Maleny/Montville area of the Sunshine Coast. Anne now operates a B&B called
Tinaroo Park Retreat and very much enjoys living on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands as well as the change of lifestyle.

EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR: Annette Brown
My husband and I have been on the Tablelands for the last 25 years. I originally came from N.S.W where I was born. I have been in the retail industry for about 15 yrs. In the space of time I have managed different retail outlets. I am involved in the Atherton Tableland Chamber as Vice President and love being part of a community that wants to move with the times. I own a business in Atherton called Country Touches. My husband and I have owned it for the last 2 yrs. We are enjoying the challenge that goes with owning a business.

Born in Mossman, Qld, moved to the Tarzali when 7 years old, and educated in Malanda, Teresa is married to a local lad and they have three lovely teenage boys. Her business - Hillside Eden Garden, an outstanding award winning garden, featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine, on TV and radio, is a tourist, business and garden wedding and event venue complete with Camilla Tea House (morning and afternoon tea and light lunches) and a conference and training room.

In addition, Leslie is a qualified Accountant and has an MBA, together with a vast range of business consulting and coaching experience.

Sonya was born and raised in rural Victoria. She completed a Diploma in Tourism before relocating to the wonderful Tablelands in 2001. Since moving to Queensland Sonya has started a family and has two girls. Now firmly entrenched in the Tableland community, Sonya is looking forward to the next challenge in her life as a small business owner of 'Tableland Secretarial Services'. As the Tablelands continue to grow and prosper she looks forward to the opportunities and developments that will continue to make this a fantastic place to live.
