President's Report
Lousie Nielsen, President TBWN Hello Everyone
Well here we are Feb already and our year if off to a flying start.
Our January dinner at the Travellers Rest was Terrific, with loads of good food and fun. Coming up we have our Feb function, which is to be held at the Homestead, our guest speaker is Shelly Evans CBWC President, and then in March we are hosting a International Women's Day luncheon at the Malanda lodge, with great speakers such as
     1. Lady Pearl Logan
     2. Judy Evans - Paronella Park
     3. Linda Jaques - Jaques Australian Coffee
     4. Anne Radke - Yuruga Nurseries
This is a great chance to celebrate just how far we have come as women over the last 100 years and to network with a variety of business people within the community. The committee have resolved this year to revamp the overall image of the TBWN and thanks to the great efforts of Lesley Ring "Taking Care of Business" and TBWN Guest speaker coordinator, we are progressing very nicely. We feel that to present ourselves in a more professional way re our logos and advertising will better represent what the TBWN is all about, and will help the growth of the club over the coming years. We will be sending all that information out to you as soon as we finalise the details.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the February dinner function so until then
Take Care, Louise Nielsen,
TBWN President
