President's
Report
Hello Everyone
Well since last time I talked to you, we have had two very successful functions. The first was our February dinner meeting, held at the Homestead, with Shelly Evens [President of the Cairns Business Women’s Group] as our guest speaker. We all enjoyed a great evening. Thank you, to the committee for their impeccable organization, as usual they make my job as President just so enjoyable.
We then had a wonderful luncheon to celebrate I.W.D at the Malanda Lodge, a big thank you to our 4 amazing guest speakers, who were so inspiring. I also want to make special mention to Leslie Ring for her ongoing commitment to creating our new look Logo etc. She has spent hours designing, what we believe to be a contemporary and but business like image. Of cause it is part 1 of a 3 part process and I believe we will be seeing the stage 2 at our March dinner meeting, which is being held a t Hillside Eden Gardens on the 28th of this month.
Looking forward to seeing you all there, until then take care
Louise Nielsen, T.B.W.N. President

How productive results can be obtained by working with ecological systems and learning from the environment.
Management practices that can improve biological diversity, nutrient recycling, water use efficiency and increase stable soil humus.
How these practices will benefit catchment areas. Website
