Lousie Nielsen, President TBWNPresident's Report
Hi All,
Our July dinner meeting was a great night with guest speaker Pam Birkit from the Daintree Discovery Centre, many of our members voted Pam as our best ever speaker, and I would have to agree, she was wonderful, (there is a lady who knows how to run a business.)

Our August dinner will be held at the Atherton RSL with Geena Court from Court House Realty. Geena was Cairns Business woman of the year 2006. Don’t forget we are fundraising for Katie Crichton our (Maize Queen entrant) over the next couple of weeks and your help and support would be appreciated.

Unfortunately due to the lack of support from the TBWN members we have had to cancel our involvement with this years Race day activities. As a committee we can only accomplish so much, we rely on your interest and support as members, to ensure the ongoing growth of the club.

Look forward to seeing you all in Atherton on the 22nd until then take care.

Louise Nielsen, TBWN President

Buy one pair of inexpensive shoes from Tom's shoes and he'll give a free pair of shoes to a child in need in a developing country. Not only does this business make the world a better place but the marketing is remarkable. "Tom has turned the shoe into a souvenir. A post-modern shoe, a shoe for people who don't need shoes, but are happy to wear a statement... (this shoe) will be one that people talk about when they're wearing it." ...Seth Godin https://www.tomsshoes.com/
