| president's report
Dear Members
I trust that for those who were able to have an Easter Break that it was relaxing and enjoyable and for those of us that run Tourism or other 7 day a week businesses that Trading was good.
TWBN members enjoyed a fabulous dinner last month at beautiful Platypus Bend Eco Retreat and Queensland Rural Women of the Year Finalist, Geraldine McQuire of Rainforest Bounty and Sustainable Solutions gave us an inspiring and fun talk on how to balance business and your life's passions. Local food was a feature of the evening and it was a lovely scenic venue. Thanks Denis and Heather Allwood for hosting us. |

Overcome Your Fear of Losing Business
If your clients trust you, they’ll stick around. Realize your fear could hurt your business. It’s worth reminding ourselves that clients can smell fear and are repelled by it. They are attracted to a service provider who will be honest and direct with them. Put your clients first. What clients want more than anything is to know that we’re more interested in helping them than we are in maintaining our revenue source.
