president's report
Last month we had a lovely meeting at the Malanda Lodge Restaurant and a good talk by Ashi Edwards from Yungaburra Natural Therapies on "recognising the signals of stress and creating a work life balance". I hope some of you were able to take home some useful tips especially as we approach the busy time of the year. Some of the key points to remember are good communication is paramount, remember to take some time for yourself, watch signals from your body that things may be getting out of balance and listen to these and take some pro-active action - this could be anything from walking in nature; visiting a friend; having a massage; getting in some help for the garden or cleaning.

This month's talk will be a good continuation on from that theme in again helping us with self-esteem, acknowledgement, respect, inner peace and time management.
Michelle Bell-Turner TBWN President

Sylvia our events co-ordinator has been busy organising a Christmas in July function at the request of some members who loved it last year. This will be a partners, friends and family event - more details soon.

One thing that I realise as I am in the thick of multiple deadlines and lots of paperwork is that we must set boundaries on our time for different projects. These help us to keep on track and eliminate the feeling of being overwhelmed. It unfortunately doesn't reduce the workload but helps in sit in manageable chunks.

Well I have to keep this month's report short, wishing you a very successful month as we look forward to seeing you at our June Dinner Seminar.
Regards Michelle
