February Special Dinner Meeting

Please come and enjoy a lovely relaxed dinner, and share with the TBWN as we get ready to launch a new committee and our members into an exciting year of networking, learning and growing together.

Partners, friends and visitors are most welcome to join in our vibrant and friendly networking dinner at our special Feb price of $25pp.

Our February dinner meeting will include a very short special general meeting to enable some important changes for the TBWN.

To celebrate our Special Resolution Meeting we are offering all guests a special discounted dinner meeting price of $25 !

includes:
Main Course choices: (Please choose one main course and one dessert and order on arrival.)
1. Beef Lasagne, or Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni - served with a rich napoli sauce, shaved parmesan cheese and a garnish salad, or
2.Chicken Caesar Salad - cos lettuce, low fat Turkish bread croutons and shaved parmesan cheese, tossed with our own Caesar dressing, then finished with a warm poached egg and optional anchovies or
3. Garden Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast - mixed lettuce, tomato, onion, continental cucumber, low fat Turkish bread croutons, green capsicum and snow pea sprouts.

Notice of Special Resolutions
1. Following the resignation as President of Melisa Cook, that the following nominees be considered for election to the positions of:

    President – Michelle Bell-Turner, nominated by Sheila Tait and Seconded by Gina Raccanello
    Vice-President – Rhonda Sorensen, nominated by Gina Raccanello and seconded by Sherryn Rendall
    Venue Co-ordinator – Sylvia Nelms, nominated by Sarah-Kaye Page and seconded by Maria Pesavento
    eNewsletter Co-ordinator – Pamela Helps, nominated by Sheila Tait and seconded by Maria Pesavento

All nominees are willing to accept the positions.

2. The TBWN committee would like to propose the following minor change to the TBWN constitution*:

Clause 13 (1):
Currently states "The management committee of the association consists of a president, 2 vice presents, treasurer and any other members the association members elect or appoint at a general meeting, namely; minutes secretary; membership secretary; ITC officer; Sponsorship Officer, Events Co-ordinator, Public Relations Officer, 1 Committee. (Total 11)

The TBWN Committee propose to change the clause to read as follows: "The management committee of the association consists of a president, treasurer and any other members the association members elect or appoint at a general meeting, namely; vice president, minutes secretary; membership secretary; ITC officer; Sponsorship Officer, Events Co-ordinator, Public Relations Officer, 1 Committee. (Total 10)

The Special Resolutions will be presented at the General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 24th February, 2010.

*This change is proposed to ensure the flexibility and longevity of the association. Given recent events which saw a limited number of volunteers for committee executive positions, this will allow more flexibility for the TBWN to continue in all situations it may face.
