We have a lovely menu at the Malanda Hotel for our September Dinner Meeting with the focus of our presentations being Sustainability. Members, partners, visitors and friends all welcome.
Firstly, Jan Hughes who is visiting from Victoria will talk to us about caring for Wildlife and dealing with sustainability issues in the Gippsland Lakes region where she lives. Jan will also discuss ways she has raised funds for the Wildlife as well as relocation of the animals to ensure their sustainability. |
Secondly, in the lead-up to the Tablelands Future Corporation Combined Chambers Forum as a group, we will discuss from a Business Women's perspective what "Strategies for Sustainable Small Business" are needed. Areas for discussion include: What makes small business sustainable?; What resources are currently available to assist small businesses achieve sustainability?; What are the resource gaps in terms of facilitating the sustainability of small business and how can these gaps be addressed?; What are the sustainability needs and opportunities for the thriveability of business groups such as the Tablelands Business Women's Network. |
